Description
I've recently concluded several similar purchases and now wish to make this lovely SONY reel to reel recorder available. It is in pristine, beautiful cosmetic and mechanical condition. The previous owner described this as being in near mint condition and I'm sure you can see from the pictures that this is the case.
All functions have been checked and all work superbly.
When the tape speed is set at 7.5 ips, the sound quality is fantastic. I used this with a Pioneer A400 amplifier (these have no tone or bass controls as Pioneer deem them to be properly balanced) and the quality at 7.5ips is simply stunning.
The machine comes complete with 1 metal spool and 2 Sony plastic reels with tape.
Included in the sale are a set of phono and 5 pin Din interconnecting leads, original manufacturers instruction manual and a detachable mains lead.
This machine has the option of x3 record and playback speeds: 1.7/8, 3.75, and 7.5 ips.
