Please note that the shrink is slightly torn on the bottom spine and top left corner has ding, both from long-term storage. The slick is fully intact.
The Original Jazz Classics Reissue label was created in 1982 by Fantasy Records to present classic jazz albums from the Fantasy-owned labels (i.e. Prestige, Riverside Records, Milestone Records, Contemporary Records) with their original artwork and liner notes. Over 1,000 titles to date have been reissued as part of this series.
Listing Party Commentary: For those jazz purists that want an original copy, this is not for you. However, I can tell you as I have both the original pressing of this title and this outstanding, high-quality reissue, and both play identical sonically except without the noise. These Original Jazz Classics (OJC) differ from many reissues is that 90% or more titles were taken from the original master tapes and not copies from digital sources. Most OJC reissues sound every bit as good as their original counterparts.
Housed in outer sleeve to keep shrink intact!
All Sealed LPs and LP Box Sets are carefully packaged in corrugated boxes made specifically for LPs/LP Box Sets, with filler pads to protect the cover, plus the LPs/LP Box Sets are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves.
