Description

What can I say...this is one of the greatest jazz pieces in my possession but I need to pay car taxes...This is one beautiful artifact. The music is amazing and the recording is perfect and the pressing and the cover...anyway...This is Prestige 7058 in MONO (446 W. 50th address on the label and RVG hand-etched in the run-off groove) with personnel including Thelonious Monk, Elmo Hope, Art Blakey, Percy Heath, Kenny Dorham, Arthur Taylor, Tommy Potter, and of course Sonny Rollins. Cover is a high VG or low VG+ to be conservative: there's some minor edge wear and discoloration and a little water damage...there are no splits however and if not for the water damage I'd call it a high VG+ (please see pictures); the vinyl is at least VG++ if not EX with just some super light marks that don't affect play. It plays a STRONG EX (NM isn't out of the question)...There's just no NOT being happy with this LP! I use made-to-order mailers to protect the records and prevent corner wear to the covers...shipping is $5.50 for priority or $3.00 for media mail within the US; world shipping we'll figure out.
