Description
SONNY ROLLINS VOL. 2, Blue Note 1558, mono, deep groove pressing, 47 W 63rd on jacket and labels, RVG and ear symbol in dead wax.
On this 1957 recording, the musicians are Sonny Rollins (tenor sax), J. J. Johnson (trombone), Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Art Blakey (drums).
The tunes are Why Don't I, Wail March, Misterioso, Reflections, You Stepped Out of a Dream, Poor Butterfly.
Condition of record looks V+, some light scuffing, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays very strong with slight occasional surface noise. Jacket shows some overall wear, 1 inch seam split top right, 2 inch seam split bottom right.
