Description

Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Sonny Rollins 'Tenor Madness' LP on Prestige Records PRLP 7047. Other musicians include Red Garland, John Coltrane, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.

Record info:

VG+ with some minor scuffs and some surface noise with visible residue from being stored in the original wax paper inner sleeve for years. It still plays great though!

Cover info:

Strong VG+ with solid seams and some creasing on bottom righthand corner. It has some minor dishing from being stored improperly but is still the nicest example of this record I've seen. The back cover has a 'Not For Sale' promo stamp on it.

Label / Pressing info:

Original Yellow/Black 203 South Washington address label with 'Not For Sale' promo stamp on side two label. It is deep groove and has the RVG stamp on both sides in the dead wax area.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
