Description
Sonny Rollins Saxophone Colossus, US orig. first pressing, 1956. Deep grooves on both sides (one side doesn't show the DG, as it has TWO labels on top of each-other, the second covering the Deep Groove, which is clearly felt, however). Disc is VG to VG+, VG+ if not for two small scracthes, first on track One, clicks for about 1 minute. Second on track two, low key clicks for about 1 minute, a bit louder for another 45 seconds. Rest fo the LP plays very nicely with great sound quality. Some light surface noise in quiet places. Visually the disc has lost some of its shine, but the sharpness of sound is intact. Cover is VG to VG+. Has marks from removed tape on back cover. Also visible (but only barely) on front. On front the lamination is missing for about 1 cm along opening, where the tape was removed.
