Description
Here is one piece that does not just pop up every other day. This is Sonny Rollins "Tour De Force" 12" vinyl. This the RVG PRLP 7126 466 W. 50th St. N.Y.C. grooved pressing.
As opposed to putting VG this and EX that (considering that seems to be very subject these days) let me just spell it out. This is a very good copy.
The cover is in FANTASTIC shape. You have the brown, water looking marks on the back (see photo 2) but it is not water damage. Just dirty from age. No warps or peeling what so ever on the cover. The front is super clean (see photo 1) No creases on the front or back and has a great gloss. No writing of any sorts either. As you can also see from the seem photo (3) the edges are awesome!! Top and bottom seams are almost NM. The side seam would be NM too if it wasn't for about 1 cm that is peeling at the very bottom. Only on the side seam not the front or back. There is not split, just that little piece of the gloss isn't there.
The lp is in good shape as well. There is no warps. The center is still very tight on the spindle. Label is perfect with no scratches or writing. The black of the vinyl shows some hairline marks on both sides none, I repeat NONE are scratches. Nothing you can feel with you finger. (see photo). Vinyl plays very well. You can hear a tad bit of noise when the needle is on the dead wax. When Sonny kicks in though..it's just the sound of his horn.
