Description
Up for auction is an original deep groove mono pressing of the Sonny Rollins 'With The Modern Jazz Quartet' LP on Prestige Records PRLP 7029. The other musicians include Kenny Drew, Percy Heath, Art Blakey, Miles Davis, Percy Heath, Roy Haynes, John Lewis, Milt Jackson, and Kenny Clarke.
Record info:
Strong VG+ with some scuffs, surface noise, and a large amount of visible residue from being stored in the original wax paper inner sleeve for years. The residue appears to be for the most part inaudible. It plays and sounds great!
Cover info:
Solid VG+ with solid seams with some corner wear with noticeable creasing on the bottom right corner. There is a small area of laminate peeling on front at middle of jacket opening. The back cover has some staining / wear in middle (see photo) and a 'Not For Sale' promo stamp.
Pressing info:
The original 446 W. 50th St address label, deep groove mono press with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area. The side one label has a 'Not For Sale' promo stamp.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
