Description
Here is a great release on the Prestige label (LP-7038). This is Sonny Rollins performing with Clifford Brown, Max Roach, Richie Powell and George Morrow. Pressing features Prestige's original "New York" label. This was engineered by Rudy Van Gelder and features the RVG initials etched in the dead wax.
Condition - The jacket looks nice from the front but shows wear including a 2-inch split at the top from the mouth, and small begining split at the bottom. The jacket grades at VG+. The record is shiny with very light signs of use, including a few light marks on the vinyl. The record grades at VG++ by sight. I listened to both sides and they sounded about VG++ as well, with some light crackling and other light surface noise in some spots, but nothing too distracting.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials. I can combine shipping.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
