This vinyl record by Sonny Rollins , titled "News’s time” with Catalogue number BLP 4001

This has 47 West 63rd Inc labels, beaded rim, ear ,9M, , and RVG stamp and Deep groove on both sides.

So this according to Cohens Blue Note book is a W63i,DG, P, RVGs,br, / NYC lam.

Not sure what pressing this is but guessing 2nd or 3rd from 1959 to 1961.

The vinyl is in top VG condition, with some minor surface noise and light marks on both sides . Label on side 2 has tiny faint brown spots.

The cover is VG+ lovely and glossy.The printed spine is intact and the artist and title still legible. Rear is beautifully clean and not dirty or showing its age. Bottom left corner has tiny scuff and laminate has just started to peel.

Inner sleeve is NM.

Grading is the most controversial and subjective topic . I’ve tried to be accurate as possible as I can and please don’t bid if you are unsure. I have previously gone with the Goldmine and am trying to stay with that so NO ex or ex + just NM,VG+,VG,Good,Poor . So Good is not as bad as you think.
