"SONNY ROLLINS" - On Blue Note BLP 1542.  Original Mono 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic Blue & White labels and the 767 Lexington AVE NYC address on both labels.  RVG and the "ear" engraved in the dead wax of both sides.  Heavy stiff vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Donald Byrd/trumpet; Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Wynton Kelly/piano; Gene Ramey/bass; Max Roach/drums.  The vinyl is in VG+ to VG condition and still maintains nice gloss.  Plays occasionally with low crackling that, while certainly audible, never overwhelms the sound.  Name appears on one label only.  The thick cardboard cover is VG or better and displays nicely.  There is a 4" seam split by top right corner, and a 5" seam split by bottom right corner.  Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Decision; Bluesnote; How Are Things In Glocca Morra; Plain Jane; Sonnysphere.
