Description
Sonny's Crib by Sonny Clark. Blue Note 1576. 1957. Mono. 47 West 63rd Street Address. Record has full gloss but in a bright light you can see some wispy hairlines. You can see the deep grooves in the pictures. I have added about 5 minutes of each of the 5 compositions so you can hear what the record sounds like. The covers has some light spotty discolorations which I tried to show in pictures 7 and 8. There is a chip off on the upper left corner (picture 9), 3/4" seam splits on upper and lower right sides (pictures 10 and 11).<
ADDITION: Because of several inquiries I need to add a couple of things. In the runout, there is on side one there is a pretzel stamp the RVG BN-LR1576-A then some space 9M and on side 2 there is RVG BN-LP-1576-B then the pretzel mark then some space 9M. Looking for these marks, I realize I understated the wispy hairlines. The marks are more like surface scuffing/light scratches that you can't hardly hear plus some hairline wisps. I do not like to grade because it is so subjective but I would guess the vinyl at VG because of the scuffing and the audio at VG+ because of some soft pops.
