Description

Rare vinyl first pressing of classic early Sonic Youth LP Bad Moon Rising from 1985. This is the UK / US version issued by Blast First and Homestead Records put out under Rough Trade - I understand that later UK copies were issued by Mute not Rough Trade.

There are some stunning tracks here - a must for any Sonic Youth fan.

I've owned this since new. Vinyl (both sides) is very good - I listened to this carefully again before listing. Outer sleeve is very good/good - please see photos of crease to one corner and wear to bottom but otherwise than minor marks this is very good. Inner sleeve is good but has crease - see photo. Lyric sheet is very good but has very minor crease - see photo.

This has some rather exotic script on the run out as follows:

  • Matrix / Runout (Etchings side A): BFFP 1 A1 = HMS 016 A1 IT'S A BIRD IN THE HAND, IT'S A MODERN LAND - SONICS RENDESVOUZ. A PORKY PRIME CUT. MPO
  • Matrix / Runout (Etchings side B): BFFP 1 B1 A PORKY PRIME CUT. HMS 016 B1 MPO PREPARE FOR THE WORST, HOPE FOR THE BEST

    • I will post this using a proper record mailer BOX - my packing has received excellent feedback.

International buyers are welcome through the ebay shipping programme.
