Description
This is an original vinyl copy of Bad Moon Rising, by Sonic Youth, from 1985. This is the earliest first pressing, on the Blast First / Homestead label, with the Rough Trade address on the back of the sleeve. Matrix A - BFFP 1 A1 = HMS 016 A1 with writing - ' It's a bird in the hand, it's a modern land - Sonics rendezvous'. A Porky prime cut. MPO. Matrix B - BFFP 1 B1. A Porky prime cut. HMS 016 B1 MPO. 'Prepare for the worst, hope for the best'. The sleeve is in great condition, with only minor wear to the edges. The lyric sheet is also present, and in excellent condition. The vinyl is in great shape, with only light superficial marks. It has had very little playing time, as I recorded this onto cassette at some time in the nineties! I emigrated in 1998, and this has been stored since then, so it's in great overall shape.
