Description
This is your chance to bid on "Songs For My Father" by GRAHAM COLLIER MUSIC. The album was released in 1970 on the UK Fontana label and features all original compositions by Graham Collier. The album features the trumpet and flugelhorn playing of Harry Beckett. The other musicians on all tracks are: Alan Wakeman, tenor and soprano saxes; Bob Sydor, tenor and alto saxes; John Taylor, piano; Graham Collier, bass and Chick Webb, drums. On some tracks they are joined by Alan Skidmore, tenor sax; Derek Wadsworth, trombone; Tony Roberts, tenor sax; and Philip Lee, guitar. The stereo record is still bright and shiny. There are some light surface marks, the odd pop and click as you would expect from a record of this vintage, but nothing to affect ones listening pleasure. The labels are in excellent condition with very little spindle wear. The fully laminated sleeve is VG+ condition. There is very minor corner and edge wear. There is very little ring wear. The back sleeve has a small amendment in ball point pen where the word Tenor has been crossed out and "soprano" written next to it. The writing could be removed with a cloth and some detergent if required. SEE PHOTOS. Paper inner sleeve is VG / EXCELLENT (not sure if the inner is original).
