Description

Sir Georg Solti & The LPO –
Holst
THE PLANETS –
Mobile Fidelity MFSL1-510 –
TERRIFIC!

Few recordings of Holst’s masterwork can compare to the London of Mehta and the LA Phil…save for this one, from Decca of Solti’s read.

Wonderful dynamics, definition and stereo spread, as Solti delivers a truly out-of-this-world performance.

Cover of this special MoFi edition is without fault; heavy platter within will play near mint.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
