Soft Cell's legendary first single released in 1980 (ABF1)

This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Soft Cell history!

**THIS IS AN ORIGINAL UK PRESSING**

The serial numbers and writing ABF 1A EG JONZ and ABF 1B EG SOUND CLINIC are etched in the run-out grooves. 

The tracks are;

·         Frustration

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. The postcard is in NEAR MINT condition. The disc has a some light surface marks and there are some slight noises on the tracks more so on the B-side with the usual pops and crackles associated with vinyl this old (well it has been around for 37 years!) but all four tracks play without sticking or jumping. It's been in my collection since I bought it through Record Collector magazine in 1988 and I will be sad to see it go but at least I'll always be able to say that I once owned a copy!


I am also including the Mutant Moments 1987 Japanese Fan club bootleg E.P that comes in a plain brown sleeve as a bonus.

The vinyl is definitely the original 1980 release as you can see from the pictures but I cannot guarantee that the sleeve or postcard are from 1980. I bought the sleeve, record and postcard together in 1988 from Vinyl Tap records through Record Collector magazine. The postcard is a black and white print on thin white card and the sleeve is white and in great condition so it is possible that they are from a later re-issue. If you have any doubts as to the authenticity of the sleeve and postcard please do not bid on this listing. Thank you
