Solid German RE of Socrates Drank The Conium's first LP, featuring the amazing guitarist John Spathas. One reviewer compares him to Timebox/Patto/Boxer guitarist Ollie Halsall- in any case, one the greatest blues/rock guitarists ever, in my opinion. Rumor has it that these guys were so revered by the other musicians in the 70's Athens music scene that they would hurry through their own last sets, just to witness this band's last set of the night.
