Description

Silk - Smooth As Raw Silk.  1969 ABC Records ABCS-694 Stereo.  1st Pressing.  Made in the USA.  Vinyl is in Poor condition.  Gatefold cover is in EX condition.  There is a piece of invisible tape on the upper right corner of the inner gatefold and two names written on the cover (other than the autograph).

Inside gatefold is SIGNED by Silk's singer/songwriter/bass player Michael Gee in the following manner... "Bill, Best Of Luck Mike Gee."  This rare early signature is in blue pen and in excellent condition and very easy to read.  Amazing.

Mike Gee is the real name of legendary Cleveland musician Michael Stanley of MSB, The Michael Stanley Band!!!  This was Michael's band BEFORE MSB and this 1969 album was produced by his friend Bill Szymczyk, who went on to produce MSB, Wishbone Ash, The Eagles, Joe Walsh, and tons of bands.
Vinyl has a lot of scratches.  Don't get it to play, get it for the extremely rare, early autograph of Michael Stanley, singed with his real name!!!
