Description

One of the rarest smiths sleeves!
This is a proof sleeve for the Morrissey sleeve version of William It Was Really Nothing original uk release on Rough Trade.  Instead of the normal green, this is one of the proofs for the red version that they scrapped.
This particular one was thrown away but then retrieved by someone that was working there.
The proof is on shiny thin paper and measures 17.5 inches by 8.5 inches and shows both the front and back using just red and black dots on a white background. For some strange reason the title bar for the rear of the sleeve has been extended around to the front which may be the reason that it was binned.
The proof has been folded into four and also has some other small creases. As such, on a scale of 1-10 i would rate it as about a 5. The point of the creasing at Morrissey's shoulder has worn away due to the folding.
Due to the rarity of this item it will only be sent registered or signed for (or tracked depending on which country you live in) airmail - hence the expensive postage.
