Smiths ORIG OZ LP Strangeways here we come EX ’87 Rough Trade 4602301 Morrissey
Original OZ LP released in 1987 on Rough Trade Records. Cat: 4602301. Comes with printed lyric inner bag which has light marks and age spots and is in VG+ condition.Recorded as the relationship between Morrissey and Johnny Marr was beginning to splinter, Strangeways, Here We Come is the most carefully considered and elaborately produced album in the group's catalog. Though it aspires greatly to better The Queen Is Dead, it falls just short of its goals. With producer Stephen Street, the Smiths created a subtly shaded and skilled album, one boasting a fuller production than before. Morrissey and Marr also labored hard over the songs, working to expand the Smiths' sound within their very real boundaries.
Tracks : A rush and a push and the land is ours/ I started something I couldn’t finish/ Death of a disco dancer/ Girlfriend in a coma/ Stop me if you think you’ve heard this one before/ Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me/ Unhappy birthday/ Paint a vulgar picture/ Death at one’s elbow/ I won’t share you. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has very light ringwear and a few light marks and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
