Description
This is an auction for the 4 X 7" Vinyl box set called the "Siamese Singles" by the "Smashing Pumpkins"
The box set contains all 4 singles taken from the album "siamese Dream".
This is the black vinyl release.
I have owned this from new and none of the singles have ever been played and have only been taken out of the box a handful of times one of which was for the photos for this listing.
There are bootleg versions of this around sold by unscrupulous dealers.
To distinguish the fakes from the real deal :-
The Cherub Rock single when released in it's clear vinyl format had a limited edition number in a white box in the bottom right corner for the genuine box set this number was blacked out (see pic) on the fake boxsets this was overlooked.
On the back of the genuine box there is a spelling mistake for the B-side to Cherub Rock, spelt Purr Snikety instead of Purr Snickety. This box has the spelling mistake. I have tried taking a picture of this but gold writing on dark purple doesn't show up very good.
The box is in excellent condition (couple of minor wear marks).
The vinyl and sleeves are in pristine condition.
Cat.No:SPBOX 1
