Description

 

This is a treble vinyl album by The Smashing Pumpkins called “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness”. The gatefold sleeve has a 1 inch split on the top edge of both sides and has been graded as VG. There is a 12 page booklet that comes with the record which has all the lyrics on and various illustrations; this has been graded as Mint. The records have been pressed in black vinyl and each side has been graded as either VG or Ex. The grading for each side is outlined below. Visually the vinyl looks near Mint and there’s no spindle ware. I was surprised to hear some back ground noise on two of the sides but this was not obtrusive. This is an original release on “Hut recordings” from 1996. Each copy was given a unique number; this album is numbered 1185. The code for the album is Huttlp 30 (724384165512). The running order is laid out below.

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

 

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

 

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

 

VG = Very Good

 

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; corners may be dog eared.
