This spectacular NEAR MINT UK 1st pressing of their impressive debut album dates from its initial May 1966 release
On the deep-grooved unboxed red & silver Decca label: LK 4790

A superb set with no more than two or three spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine factory-fresh playing surfaces which as unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with nothing more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
This LP was originally won in a competition in 1966 by its disinterested original owner and was not played more than once or twice at most. Consequently the sound quality is flawless and wonderful throughout. You will not find a better original copy of this album.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This fragile, easily blemished cover never turns up in anything like approaching this condition.
However, this outstanding example has been stored in a clean, non-smoking environment and is amongst the best examples you will ever find.
The striking unworn, unfaded front panel retains a sparkling high-gloss laminate with just two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge and some laminate lift along the spine.
All corners are unbruised and unbumped and both opening edges are sharp and totally unworn.
The exposed rear panel is as clean and white as it could be with just a small section of toning along the mouth.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean and fully worded.
