Small Faces 'Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake'.
Original UK Immediate pink label stereo 2nd press LP.
The third LP by the Small Faces and a classic Psychadelic concept album. With the 1Y-2 2Y-2 matrices and 'UK Patent...21639/68 & Design Application no.936818' text on the foldout cover!
The Garrod & Lofthouse matt circular foldout sleeve is intact & in EX+ condition, with some very light storage rubbing and with complete hinges with all panels firmly attached. The spine is intact and fully readable, the polythene inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually in EX+ condition, with only one or two very faint sleeve removal hairlines on each side and a single light needle mark on side 1 that does not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of couple of faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter spoken word passages, overall a really great, loud and punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; IMSP-012, 1Y-2 stamper 1-GD, 2Y-2 stamper 1-GD. This is one of the very earliest copies of the 2nd pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!
