Description

First UK mono pressing on lilac immediate label IMLP 012.
With "for amazing results..... " text on the side 1 label
Sleeve only has one patent application number

Under bright light the vinyl is visually Good but it plays better than it looks, possibly due to the very very low mother/ stamper. It has many light surface marks and scuffs. I have played it through fully and the sound is great but be aware that there are clicks and there is fairly constant background crackle of varying degree - this is generally overpowered by the exuberance of the music but it is very noticeable between tracks and on the narrative sections on side 2. The crackle does reduce as each side progresses. There are no skips or sticking.

The labels are clean with no writing or stains, just a typical amount of spindle traces. KT tax code around spindle hole.

The fold out sleeve is intact although 2 of the joins were beginning to split and they have been reinforced with clear tape, please see photos. In the third photo the tape is on the 2 vertical joins. Otherwise the sleeve is fine and would grade as EX if it weren't for the tape.

The original plastic inner bag is missing, record will be placed in a standard poly lined inner sleeve for despatch.

The postage cost is high because special delivery is the only Royal Mail service that provides the required level of compensation. I do not profit from postage.

Gradings use the UK Record Collector Magazine standard. I only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under bright light, not normal daylight. Record will be packaged in a proper mailer with stiffeners, usually a "defendamax" box.

Postage will usually be via recorded delivery. If you buy 2 lps the postage on the second is normally free in the uk (double lps possibly excepted)
