 SMALL FACES - 'FROM THE BEGINNING'


This beautiful UK 1st pressing of this early Decca compilation dates from initial June 1967 release.

On the red/silver, deep-groove Decca label: LK 4879


Matrix numbers: XARL-7881-8B & XARL-7882-8A

Stamper codes: 1/H & 1/H

Vinyl weight: 141g


Housed in a front laminated 'Clout & Baker' printed cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Disc: NEAR MINT

Immaculate labels bearing just 3/4 spindle trails indicating very little play indeed. Both playing surfaces are completely unworn and 'as new' in strong daylight with nothing more than a couple of extremely faint wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light. Audibly everything is flawless & wonderful.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

Fully intact with moderate storagewear. The front panel has some wrinkles to the laminate and there is a small 1.5cm scratch on the rear panel along with some discoloration to the white border. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully worded.
