Yes!! It does exist!! This has been in my collection for years but the guy I bought it off was an engineer back in the 70s and somehow bagged one of these. The story behind the 'alternate Fresh' is that this was meant to be the finished album... These UK pressed promos (with finished labels and plain white sleeves) were sent out to reviewers in March 1973. Then, Sly changed his mind and submitted the new master, the one all of us know and love. Even more bizarrely, these different mixes were issued by mistake for its first CD release in the early 90s. Some say they prefer this one, I'll leave that up to you guys. I personally could never make my mind up but loved playing this just as much. Interestingly, the guy I bought this off thought this was the final version for years and was quite disappointed when he heard the final one!! The only flaw for me with this version is that 'In Time' is missing, which is one of the funkiest songs ever made by anyone ever.
The tracklisting is totally different, the mixes are completely different (some of them even sound like different tunes), and the different take of Babies Makin' Babies is MUCH MUCH funkier than the final one!! Also, this has a unique catalogue number, different to the final version.
This is the only copy of this I have ever seen and I doubt I will find another!! This review copy is still largely unknown but this is proof that it is out there!!

This has come from my own personal collection... I will be listing more of these unusual pressings in the future...
Vinyl is in EX condition : looks near mint but does play with a little crackle here and there, nothing too distracting, more in the silence between tracks, still a nice decent UK pressing (CBS handled this who were one of the best in the UK around this time) which plays great and loud!! I have given it several cleans myself but I don't have any of the big expensive record cleaners, I reckon a spin on that and this would sound good as new!!
Plain white sleeve is in VG++ condition : light age spots and ring wear, no splits or tears
