Up for bid is an extremely rare and amazing piece of Virginia music history, Skip And The Creations "MOBAM." This record was released by the, now highly-sought-after and collectable, Justice Recording Co. out of Wintson-Salem, NC and the band had a fan club in Colonial Heights, VA. This amazing record blends some elements of R&B and Gospel, but maintains a solid, cool 60s Punk and Garage sound with some really awesome organ-led cuts as well as some great covers. The copy for your consideration is in solid, all around VG+ condition.
The jacket shows minimal wear and grades closer to NM-. The corners remain sharp and there are no splits or wear on the seams. The gold labels show signs of fading though the center hole does not show signs of wear. The record has numerous light marks that seem to exist from being stored in the jacket without a sleeve, but nothing that can be felt. I have cleaned and play tested the LP and there are absolutely no skips and the record sounds pretty great considering it was made probably rather cheaply on an independent label in the 60s. Since in my possession, the LP has been protected (and will be shipped) in an audiophile-style lined inner sleeve. This one does not come up for bid often, so don't miss your chance to get a copy of this lost classic in great condition.
