Released by Ska Beat in 1965, cat # JB216; this is “Nuclear Weapon†by Roland Alphonso with Baba Brooks Band c/w “Love You Neighbour†by Stranger Cole and the Baba Brooks Band.
This week is a selection of the labels we have left to sell from our reggae collection. If you’ve not seen our auctions before, where have you been! Some immense singles this week in fantastic condition that defy their age. Remember, most are mint, some were unplayed until we got hold of them and all are one owner from new and have NEVER been offered for sale anywhere else – ever. You’ve dreamt about singles in this condition – now see them for real!
Both labels have a couple spindle marks but are otherwise unmarked. Visually, there are a some small surface marks on the A-side; the B-side is unmarked. Playing, there is a little surface noise at the start of the A-side, which has more or less gone by the first cry of “Nuclear Weapon†There is a little more surface noise later in the track, but I think a bloody good clean is in order! The B-side plays superbly first time out! The record grades as excellent overall.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
