Description
This is the UK vinyl LP album by Sister Sledge titled "We Are Family" on the Atlantic label (Catalogue Number K50587), is a rare gem from 1979 and is produced by the great Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of the Chic organisation. It features their early greatest hits such as "He's The Greatest Dancer" "Lost in Music" and the title track, which is here in an extended version to the single. It features other well orchestrated funky and soulful tracks with smooth vocals that will get you grooving such as "Thinking of You, which was also a big hit here in the UK (see pictures for track listing). Had this record since the 1980s and have play tested it 100% and while visually there are some scratches on the record which are reflected in some crackle at high volume through headphones, it's not overwhelming, (it's quite noticeable on the intro to the title track) so I'd class the sound and the vinyl as Very Good. On Side One, the label appears to be "bubbling" a bit (see pics) The cardboard sleeve is in fairly good condition with a bit of wear round the edges where it's been handled and a little bit of roughness on the bottom of the front cover, also some residue at the top of the back cover, maybe where it's been leaning against another LP. The inner paper sleeve is also in fairly good condition, slightly stained and a little brown but still intact. Overall I'd class the packaging as Good. See pictures for condition described.
