Description
Sis Quander – Black Snake Blues / Soul And Body
Perfect 130
Graded V There is a very small rim chip on Side A - won't affect play (please see photo)
Unfortunately, this is a gruesome looking specimen but plays rather well considering. “Black Snake Blues” plays V with surface audible but not intrusive. The other side “Soul and Body” looks a worry with some deterioration in the colour of the grooves but plays good and complete and also at V.
10" 78 RPM Shellac Record
A rare disc that’s hard to find in any shape.
“Black Snake Blues” is a cover of Victoria Spivey’s big number, and has a doomy piano accompaniment that increases its appeal.
A red wax with red label 78 record.
Comes from a smoke-free home
I will regularly be listing Blues and Jazz 78's so please keep checking back
Please note that my postage rate for 78's reflects the additional costs involved of purchasing a specific sized box and using additional packaging materials. Combined shipping rates are available.
I will always endeavor to send out 78 Record orders within 2 working days. However, due to the extra time spent packaging them and only be limited to carrying two boxes a time to the Post Office, I have increased the Handling Time to 4 working days.
