Sir Guy & The Rocking Cavaliers 45rpm 1969 D.P.G. 801 Funky Virginia / My Sweet Baby – Free Shipping
You are bidding on the exact record shown in my photos. It is the Original 1969 D.P.G. Mono Record (DPG-801) by Sir Guy & The Rocking Cavaliers. This is an original copy of the Record distributed by ATCO released in 1969. D.P.G. was a small label in Virginia. They released it first in April on #1009. Soon thereafter in 1969 ATCO took over distribution and used redesigned labels with #801.
The songs are “Funky Virginia” b/w “My Sweet Baby”.
Note:
The label states “CSG Processed Mono Master”. CSG stands for Compatible Stereo Generator. Simply put, it was a short-lived processed used by Atlantic and a few other labels at the time to make records play equally well on stereo and mono equipment.
Vinyl Condition: Vinyl is in “Excellent” or better condition (based on the Goldmine standard). The labels are clean and intact with a drill hole. Please see all my photos. The vinyl is clean and shiny no scratches.
Most importantly, the record plays beautifully and PERFECTLY on my Fisher system with no noise, tics or skips.
I will ship it in the company sleeve shown in my photos.
Free Shipping in the USA via USPS Media Mail with a tracking number. I will ship the record in a white poly mailer bag with sturdy cardboard inserts to help prevent damage.
