Description

This is Sinead O'Connor's Reggae album, Throw Down Your Arms from 2005. It was produced by Sly and Robbie after she got into being a Rasta. If you haven't heard it, whoah, you're in for a treat. She has some a capella segments, aspects that seem inspired by Lee Scratch Perry and his songs about Vampires, and other tracks that meld her more traditional Irish background with Reggae. This is easily my favorite album of hers as it's a total leftfield move and shakes up her 90s era pop-MTV self away.

Now the records-- both have very light surface scuffs, mostly clean.

The outersleeve has some creasing on the right side where the opening is. Otherwise, just a tinge of ringwear. It's a nice touch that the album title is embossed in gold lettering. This is also LP001 on the label.

One innersleeve has noticeable crinkling and creasing, to which i downgraded the overall inner sleeve ratings. They are lovely printed inner sleeves. I have no idea why one is so creased, other than the pitfall of not being a gatefold opening, both LPs in one opening and pushing on each other and having the record for so many years. Only played a few times since 2005.
