This record was made in 1962, and it was the first time - as far as I know - that Sinatra and Basie recorded together. Add to this combination the arrangements of Neal Hefti and soloists like Thad Jones, Frank Wess, Frank Foster, Eric Dixon, Sonny Cohn, and others. Finally, add the bass of Buddy Catlett, the guitar of Freddie Green, and Sonny Payne on the drums, and the result is a Swinging Masterpiece.
