Description

SIMPLE MINDS - Limited Edition Box Set (1989)

IMPORT - Made in England

This is a mega-rare Simple Minds Box Set. I have never seen another one - not in stores, nor eBay!

It contains a promo EP for Street Fighting Years, but contains a bunch of extras. First it has the box with slide out drawer, but the real bonus which you won't find anywhere is the 4 black and white stills photographed during the making of Belfast Child video - those are superb.

I can't recall where I bought this item. Most of my records, especially my rare items were bought in NYC in the 1980s, but I also lived in Glasgow, Scotland and brought back a bunch of Simple Minds items.

Side A

Belfast Child (Full Length Version)

Side B

Mandela Day
Biko (Words & Music by Peter Gabriel)

CONDITION
Record: MINT
Box/Drawer: Very Good. Outer box is of thinner cardboard than most box sets and shows some wear. Take a good look at the picture - any wear is clearly visible.
Record Sleeve: MINT
Photographs: Excellent. Front of photographs are corners look perfect. Back of photographs show very very faint evidence in a few spots where adhesive help them up. You probably wouldn't notice unless I told you to look.

Pictures are of actual item. All parts are original. I think you'll find it's in great shape for such a rare item. Box set was kept in a proper record storage box (stored vertically) in a dry room.

Includes:

12" record
Original record sleeve
Original outer box
Original slide in drawer
4 black & white photographic stills from Belfast Child video
Original wax paper envelope that holds pictures
