songs on record are Bleeker Street, Sparrow, Wednesday Morning 3am, The Sounds of Silence.

Note that in 1964 the classic Sound of Silence was called The Sounds of Silence,

This CD has a mementous history..

In 1964/5 I was in charge of The City Of Birmingham Training College Folk Club and organised concerts. In February 1964 Paul Simon was singing in The Jug o Punch Folk Club in Birmingham singing A Church is Burning and He was my Brother... a knock out. Cheeky me asked if he would come to College. He ws going back to the States and could not do the gig. He promised to come to perform if he was over here next year. He honoured that promise , performed at College in June 1965 along with Art Garfunkel for £10.00 + £3.00 petrol expenses. He stayed in my College room and on departing gave me this EP which he signed on the reverse of the dust jacket.

The sleeve of the dust jacket has seen better days but the record is in tip top condition.

Hi to any one who remembers  that concert.
