SIMON & GARFUNKEL - 'PARSLEY, SAGE, ROSEMARY AND THYME'
This superb sounding UK 1st STEREO pressing of their iconic 1966 album is on the orange & black CBS label: SBPG 62860
In addition to the well-know tracks such as 'Scarborough Fair/Canticle' & 'The 59th St. Bridge Song', the closing track, "7 O'Clock News/Silent Night," includes a news bulletin mixed in with the music. The bulletin reports the death of Lenny Bruce, the indictment of mass-murderer Richard Speck, and the calling out of the National Guard in response to civil protests

This copy has received minimal careful play on top-quality equipment and apart from a trace of low-level vinyl background between tracks, sounds flawless throughout
