Description

Very nice rare 1st pressing Mono copy of Simon Dupree & The Big Sound’s debut album from 1967. The band later morphed into Progressive rock band Gentle Giant. The catalogue number is Parlophone PMC. 7029 and matrices are XEX 639-1/XEX 640-1. A great collector’s item which should appreciate in value.

Sleeve VG+ Front laminated with flipbacks. In very good shape for its age. Some light age yellowing and minor creasing.
 
Labels Ex+ Very clean, no marks or writing. Light spindle traces only.

Inner Ex Original EMI advertising sleeve.

Record Visually Ex, possibly Ex+, nice shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light, just a couple of sleeve-removal hairlines seen under a strong light.  Fully play-tested and sounds great – clear, detailed and powerful audio with some inevitable light crackle here and there.
