Yes, yes,,,, I know there are MANY original copies. Undeniable. But this is an all-time classic and very popular with some incredibly fussy audio. Mind yourself.. Do you want a flimsy copy? Nope..Do you want a copy that is 80% great - nope not really.....What you want/need is a near master cut that plays practically perfect from a deep groove original! An original 1st issue of TROUBLED WATER for the UK whilst charting. Matrix A6/B5. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an early original quality EJ Day cover - front laminated. Look at the difference the lamination makes! Lovely quality solid copy not like the countless flimsy later ones! You can go through twenty copies...before you find one that plays like this! original CBS inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In excellent condition and has only seen lightest use. Super lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Importantly it's playing clean even into the quieter moments. Why can't all copies sound like this...it really makes a change to hear this 1970 classic in such fine fettle. Few copies will play consistently like this. transient sounds are ALL STILL FULLY PRESENT. This makes a massive difference on tracks like BOTW. This track is fussy from a number of angles and almost never plays properly fully.  A couple of isolated ticks early in BOTW - the only thing I can vaguely pick out... Makes a change!.A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. But this copy has an unrivalled clean feed- I don't think I've heard better. Truly epic in FLW - remember? flute and airy vocal! This track is unbelievable fussy - and this copy totally aces it. And remember for a popular title - many copies will have got murdered over time. BOXER anyone? This track is AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC - but incredibly fussy. You wanna hear that intricate tapping in the background properly - you're gonna a perfect player then. Jeees OLBINY...literally delicious...utter perfection. Super player cannot fault. If you need the bestest of the restest - have a good think on this one. FINAL UPGRADE. Just played right through...and it's hard not to flip it over and play it all over again!
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and that aesthetic on the front is well preserved without fading or creasing. Ditto the rear - mot copies do not look this clean. Minimal edge wear - sharp openings. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) light ageing no splits.
