Description

This is an absolutely beautiful box set of some of Sigur Ros' best music! Only 5000 of these were made and this is #0000/5000! 
There are three full albums and one previously unreleased album included in this set:

  • Agaetis Byrjun

  • Takk
  • Smaskifa
This is a brand new, factory sealed set. 7LPs total, plus a 32 page book with beautiful photographs of Sigur Ros' tour across Iceland in 2006. All of this comes together in hard cover book with sleeves for each LP.
Listening to Sigur Ros on vinyl is an experience like no other. It definitely beats CDs or MP3s. Not to mention that this is a stunning set that should not be passed up. These sets are completely sold out in any normal retail setting and you will only be able to find them on eBay or other places where people resell things. These won't stay around for ever.
If you are a Sigur Ros fan, this is a must have. If you know someone who is really into Sigur Ros, this would be the perfect gift!

Note on the number: There appear to be multiple copies of #0000/5000 of this box set. I have been looking into this for years, ever since I received my copy of #0000. There isn't a whole lot of information out there and there is no official word on this. But from what I have been able to figure out, it appears as though there were a few numbers that they didn't print. This is fairly common with numbered sets like this, sometimes bands and/or record labels are superstitious and don't want to print certain numbers. Beyond that, it's also possible that they printed a few of the #0000 for band members, record executives and so on.
