Record, inner sleeve and cover in excellent condition (some light marks on record surface but do not cause any problems when playing) with no jumps, pops etc

Status Quo played at Malton, North Yorkshire in 1971. I managed to get this album (plus ‘Spare Parts’ – see my other auctions) & a poster signed which have been prized possessions ever since; however the albums are never played & I need to clear some of my collections – hence this sale. The LP(s) were signed in my presence shortly after the soundcheck in the foyer of the Milton Rooms. It was the days of the faded denim look and Rick Parfit wanted to buy my faded Levi jacket but I refused (and I still have it!). I remember that the band turned up to the gig in a Triumph 2500 & the all gear was in a Long Wheel-base Transit. I think we were expecting the ‘pop’ version of Status Quo, but it was heads down boogie from the off & they went down a storm. A few weeks/months later ‘Dog of Two Head’ was released and the rest they say is history!
