Both sides of the record have 767 Lexington Ave. NYC address; same address at the bottom of the back cover.  The record has "RVG" and the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax.  Leader, Sidney Bechet, soprano sax, clarinet on 6 tracks with "Wild Bill" Davison, cornet; Art Hodes, piano; "Pops" Foster, bass; Fred Moore, drums, vocal from 1945.  1 track with leader, Bechet, soprano sax; Davison, cornet; Ray Diehl, trombone; Hodes, piano; Walter Page, bass; "Slick" Jones, drums from 1949.  2 tracks with leader, Bechet, soprano sax; Davison, cornet; Hodes, piano; Page, bass; Fred Moore, drums from 1949; 3 tracks with leader, Bechet, soprano sax; Davison, cornet; Jimmy Archey, trombone; Joe Sullivan, piano; Foster, bass; Jones, drums from 1950.

Cover:  VG+   Clean with a 2" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge.  Some light edge and corner wear.  Light wear from ordinary handling on the front cover.  Minor aging on the back cover.

Record:   Mint(-)   Visually shows no wear.  A few, very light surface rub marks at the beginning of Side 2.  These are barely visible and do not affect the sound.  No surface noise. Plays like new. Moderately heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
