Description

This is Blue Note Records LP 7024, Sidney Bechet Jazz Festival Concert Paris 1952, a blue and white, deep groove, Lexington Ave label original 10" mono issue of this classic set with flat edges and the ear (p) mark in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing just a few light marks keeping it from being near mint. The record plays quietly throughout except of occasional light background crackle. Remarkable for a piece of this age.  The cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show almost no spindle marks. This is a superb, collector's grade copy of this classic original Blue Note. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders.
