DETAILS : A terrific original 1st pressing of this choice slice of mid 70s prog-blues-psych Aussie rock. Super Hard to find and certain to please.
INFO : Sid Rumpo formed in Perth and after winning the 1972 state final for Hoadley’s Battle Of The Bands they ended settling in Melbourne. The group performed at both Sunbury 1972 and '73 before releasing this sole long-play which is now much sought after. Simply a killer album mixing hard blues tracks like 'Spotlight' and 'Breaking My Back' with brilliant lengthy progressive rockers in 'Song With No Trees' and 'Sailing'. As good as anything from the era for sure and now regarded as an essential piece in the jigsaw of Aussie prog / blues rock ... sadly they disbanded later that year with guitarist Mick Elliot surfacing with Western Flyer.

LABELS : Clean.
VINYL : Some few and far between light scuff / handling marks evident under a halogen light that are of no consequence playback wise. In fact it tracks through incredibly clean with no lead in/out noise ; no pops , skips or clicks and a pleasure to play ... a gem of a copy without doubt. On Looks a strong EX+. Audio-wise I am tempted to give it a Near Mint rating.
SLEEVE : You would be doing well to find a better example these days. A little ring-wear rubbing on the back (very common for white covers of this age) though thankfully very light. A previous owners catalogue number, tiny as it is, can be seen on in the top left-hand corner on the back. He even went as far of penning the correct vocals to 'Don't Bug Me Boogie' on the inside gatefold (very light mind you) as per photo above .. I could live with that and no big deal overall. Presents like a winner with no creasing or splits, the corners square and spine is intact.
