We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Very collectible 1967 first pressing vinyl of a dynamite THEM album with the garage punk snarl of young Van Morrison....
The ever-in-flux Belfast-based THEM ranks with the Animals and the Rolling Stones as fine purveyors of bullish, non-American '60s rhythm and blues. THEM & VAN MORRISON is a terrific account of the short-lived outfit that include R&B standards ( "Turn on Your Lovelight," "I Put A Spell On You") and Morrison originals that laid the groundwork for his early live repertoire ("Gloria," "Mystic Eyes," "One Two Brown Eyes"). Other highlights include a powerhouse version of "Baby Please Don't Go" (with Jimmy Page soloing), fearless takes on Bob Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" and the rousing "Richard Cory."
Them featuring Van Morrison, were a tuff bunch of scruffs were out of the Northern Ireland seaport of Belfast Ireland. As The Beatles were taking the world by storm, Van Morrison and his band were nightly playing pubs and small theaters from Belfast all the way south to Cork in The Republic. And like The Animals from Newcastle in the north of England, Them, was gritty and dirty, and so very cool to listen to! This scarce German album delivers tracks of great blues and R & B in what amounts to the core of the music of Them. Driving bass & drums, slide guitar, harp, swirling organ, more gritty guitars, and those hard to understand vocals from Van Morrison.
With: "Gloria", "Baby Please Don't Go", "Here Comes The Night", "Mystic Eyes", "Route 66" and "Call My Name", the hit singles are of course right here on this Lp. But, there is so much more to enjoy, "Richard Cory" was writen by Paul Simon as a folk song, but when Van & band perform this, it is miles away from folk. "Go On Home Baby" thumps along like nobody's business, "I'm Gonna Dress In Black" is sinister stuff...Altogether, 2 full sides of snarling THEM....
