From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this piece of R&B and soul music history. Sharon Ridley. Scandal In Bedrock. US pressing. 1971. Sussex. SUX 229. A soul masterpiece, often described as a Modern Northern Soul Classic. A Side has Scandal In Bedrock with the B Side being the outstanding Where Did You Learn To Make Love The Way You Do. Record is in Very Good Plus condition, couple of very minor hairlines and a scuff that most likely came from storage. There is a chipped edge on the Bedrock side, measures about 1cm and is only on that side; nothing to see on the other side. It doesn’t impact the run-in groove and is pretty hard to see, more noticeable if you run your finger around the edge of the record. Generic paper sleeve.
