Description

VG+/F, mono, original pressing, Prestige/Bluesville 1008. A brilliant copy of a classic Chicago blues title. Record has minimal wear, extremely light scuffing, and no noticeable scratches or flaws. I would grade it Excellent.  This record came from the collection of a DJ who took outstanding care of his records. The cover is clean and intact, with very slight ring wear, 1" SS on bottom right, 1.5" scotch tape mark center right, light bumping to edges, otherwise strong and bright. Back cover is sharp, with minor scuffing. For it's age, it's a fine specimen. I would grade it VG+.

"Good Times" was the debut album by fine Chicago harmonica player Shakey Jake Harris, who is certainly regarded as one of Chicago's finest. Bluesville Records teamed Harris up with jazz organist "Brother" Jack McDuff and guitarist Bill Jennings for this superb Chicago Blues album. It is considered by many the highlight of Jake's recorded output.
