Description

Extremely rare, first ever pressing (Worldwide!) of the Sex Pistols' "Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols" vinyl LP from October 1977.

The well known irony is that the record by a British band saw its first ever release on a French label. The UK pressing was not released until a few weeks later.

Album has all of the identifying "points" establishing it as a first pressing:

1) the letter "A" in a circle at top right of rear sleeve.

2) Only 11 tracks - "Submission" was added to later versions

3) Label typo "Never Mind the Bollocks It's the Sex Pistols"..("It's" should read "Here's")

4) Error in spelling of the track "Holydays in the Sun"..(should be "Holidays")

5) "Made in Belgium" printed at bottom of label (both sides).

6) Glen Matlock's name is misspelled "Mattlock" on the label songwriting credits.

7) required numbering "940553" at top front right of sleeve.

Sleeve has some light scuffs and edgewear. Small indentation at top front right. Record has scattered light scratches. VG condition.

A highly collectible edition of one of the most important albums in pop history.
