Description
Here is the Sex Pistols first single. "Anarchy in the UK", (produced by Chris Thomas) backed with I Wanna Be Me (produced by Dave Goodman) This is a pretty rare punk single, hard to find in any condition. Catalogue Number: EMI 2566 Released: 1976. This record looks as if has never been played, and in fact I do have two copies, so I guess I bought one to play and one to keep clean. The labels are bright and clean, the sleeve shows a little wear on the top edge. Then you receive the bonuses: TWO 8 x 10 original photos of the Sex Pistols taken by me, Roberta Bayley on the Pistols first U.S. Tour in 1978. One is of Johnny Rotten and Steve Jones, the other of Sid Vicious. The first photo was printed by me at the time so it is a vintage print, though not part of an edition. (If it were a fiber print and part of one of my editions it would retail for $650). It is signed on the back, but if you like I can sign the front in silver pen so it will show when framed. The second print is made from a copy negative and signed on the front with my initials. And last but not least is a copy of Punk Magazine. Summer 2007 issue, with a cover story on Sid & Nacy.
